Bourbon Christian School was founded by the Clay Street Amish Mennonite Church out of a need to give our children a solid, biblically based education that will affect the life and ministry of all students who attend here. Ground was broken for the building in August 1997, and our first day of school was in August 1998.
We offer an academic program that covers grades one through twelve, with materials and support provided to home school kindergarten. Our curriculum provides a strong program academically, coupled with character development, a strong phonetic approach to reading using the Abeka curriculum, and a curriculum in Junior High and High School that allows us to tailor subject materials to the individual student.
The school has a number of classrooms, indoor and outdoor recreational facilities, a library, and office space that comprises our facility and administrative areas.
